Going clean is a huge help when Trying To Conceive. There are many things you can avoid that will help you maintain a healthy and happy uterus. I have some favorite clean products to share with you, as well as a few ingredients to avoid when shopping for new items. I hope this list will help you as you go clean in your home!

Toilet cleaner- Method for sure, has a nice minty smell and cleans super well!
Hand soap and dish soap- Grove collective with their reusable glass bottles.
Cut up a fresh lime and toss it into your garbage disposal, turn it on for a few seconds, and your disposal will be clean and smell amazing!
I buy almost all of this (other than the hair stuff and face wash) off of Grove Co. Click here to go explore everything they have available and get a free gift set with your first purchase! This is my personal affiliate link, so I get a little bit of credit if you shop too. But that’s just a perk! They are legit AMAZING.
Ingredients to Avoid
When looking for a new product to try out, here are a few of the ingredients I personally try to avoid. Many of these ingredients mess with your hormones, so it’s important to cut them out during the time of Trying To Conceive.
- Salicylic Acid in high doses- small doses are ok
- Hydroquinone
- Retinol
- Benzoyl Peroxide
- Parabens and Phthalates- these are endocrine disrupting chemicals that could contribute in some way to difficulty in conceiving
- A good way to avoid these is to choose fragrance free, or completely natural fragrance options
- Formaldehyde
- Botox
At the end of the day, you need to find what works for YOU. But cutting out some of these ingredients may help your body prepare a little bit better to carry your future child. We are rooting for you!
